Fire and Flood in Chattanooga School
The greatest damage from a fire is the smoke damage that lingers after the fire is extinguished. This Chattanooga school did not have as much fire damage as they did smoke and water damage. The fire started in a broom closet which smoldered and let out hot smoke throughout the building, setting the sprinklers off in multiple rooms.
We were called within just a few minutes after the firefighters were dispatched, as seen in the first picture. Working with the firefighters, we got a clear assessment of the damage and started the drying and cleaning process. The entrance went from a flooded and smoky mess to "Like it never even happened." Although this was only the first step of the restoration process, we were happy to provide results within the first few days of damage.
