Utility Closet Fire in Bradley County

The fire started in this utility closet. The smoke damage was very extensive leaving soot behind on the floors, walls, and ceiling. All the ceiling tiles had to be removed as they were discolored and smelled of smoke. Ceiling tiles are too porous to be able to remove smoke smell; they are also very cheap and not worth cleaning for the price.

We know the second picture doesn't look like much but we want to show what the room looked like after we did our first scrubbing. Anything that was not porous was easy to clean as seen around the basin. The walls and floor ware only a little cleaner and will need at least one more scrubbing. The next step would be sealing and repainting to be finished.
