Storm Damage – Chattanooga Ceiling Breached
Rain from storm damage led to this ceiling in a Chattanooga house becoming water soaked and ready to collapse. The roofing of the home had become compromised when high winds tore off a large section. Water then pooled on top of the pictured ceiling. When we arrived the ceiling was ready to collapse. We placed a tarp on the roof to stop further water accumulation and then we extracted what water we could. Next, we tore out the damaged ceiling materials and disposed of them properly. We then followed up by placing air movers and dehumidifiers to dry the water soaked ceiling. If your home is hit with storm damage, call SERVPRO of Bradley County 24/7 at (423) 614-5552.
