Water Leak Turns Into Mold Damage

The water damage that resulted in the upstairs of this South Cleveland home was not mitigated right away causing mold damage to result. The water from the upstairs found its way down this air duct and into the corner of the basement room.

Mold usually takes around 48 hours to show up which is the reason for needing immediate action after any water intrusion. We were called in to mitigate this damage only after the homeowners waited until an adjuster was available from their insurance to assess the damage. Had we been called when the damage happened we could have dried the ducting and ceiling before mold had a chance to grow.
